जुलाई २०१८ तक पूरे विश्व में १०९२ विश्व विरासत स्थल हैं जो १६७ देशों में स्थित हैं। इन स्थलों में से ८४५ सांस्कृतिक हैं, २०९ प्राकृतिक हैं, एवं ३८ मिश्रित प्रकृति के हैं। [1]
